in January 2012 Weddings
So I have 52 applications out and I just realized TODAY that I fcking put the wrong number for a reference by 1 number!!!!!!!!!!

ok laugh at me!  I am so mad at myself. I have been giving that phone out for a year, why why why would I put the wrong number!

    I think you're fine.  Anybody who is really going to call your references will call you to get a correct number. :)

    Dont stress over it too much. I never call a reference until I have interviewed the candidate first. You'll have your opportunity to let them know the number is incorrect. Smile

    So far as I know, nobody has ever called any of my references.  Even when they specially asked for them.

    Well we are wrong.  I put in an app last night at 10 pm my time.  I checked my email around 11 am and one of my references told me that they had already contacted them. I have yet to hear from them, but my references told me that they gave me excellent reviews.  So even tho I would have loved to be called first, I will take what I can get.

    Luckily I put the right number on this one!

    I still haven't heard about an interview from them...

    But I did get a call for an interview next Thursday. :)
