I haven't had any issues with her, but my wedding isn't until April. She was wonderful when we met with her and she even told us about a wedding that she is doing that is using the same exact linens as us (that she is letting us come take a sneak-peek while they are setting up). I have heard some people having issues with her, but I am crossing my fingers and hoping that my luck with her continues : /

I would make sure to get references from her. Call those people and see what they say. I have seen alot of negative on this site as well not a ton of good. I would recommend NOT paying in full up front, put down the min required to hold your date & product that way if something does happen negative you are not out all that money.

I have her booked for next summer so please keep me/us updated on how it goes with her!!! She had also invited me to go to my venue where she was doing a wedding, I was not able to make it but the event planner at my venue said they looked ok, they were on time, and the staff setting them up were very nice and professional. I have been scared by a few comments I have seen on here but I am keeping my fingers crossed since I paid in full already...

I have heard super bad things about her- it is all over the internet. I heard she calls and cancels a couple days before and then does not refund your money. I love We've got it covered.... Erin is really nice.

I was scammed by Monica Delaney while helping my friend with her wedding last Friday. I found her on craigslist.com and even met with her to see if she was legit. Everything was fine until 2 days before the wedding when she backed out, saying her business attorney advised her to not do any business for 14 days because of 2 complaints from past clients to the BBB. She promised to refund the money I paid her as well as cover the cost of renting linens with a new company. I sent her the invoice and now she's not returning my calls or emails. Another bride who has her booked for October had some connections with the Richfield Police Dept and an investigator spoke with Monica, telling her he was aware that there are complaints against her and money she owes and that she needs to answer her phone. I called her again today and she, of course, didn't answer.

I've now contacted the BBB, Attorney General's Office and 2 lawyer friends for advice and am trying to get all the people she scammed together so we can do something about this. Let me know if you're one of them.

P.S. Ditto that Erin at We've Got It Covered is great!

I would not use her. Run as fast as you can. She never returns phone calls. We checked out a set-up and also references. Just days before the reception cancelled. No money returned or even a phone call. Just an e-mail days before the reception. Not reliable. I would never give her business. She is a SCAM........ do not use her. I understand another name she maybe using is Willow Linens.

I used her and she was fine for me. Once again, I strongly question the validity of anybody who has only made 2 or 3 posts and all of them are bashing a particular vendor. I also don't see anything "all over the internet" about her. I know there are some more established posters on here who have had concerns or issues with her, but I believe there are some on here that had no problem with her either. I would ask her for references if you're uneasy, and make sure to call them and check.

I had my wedding on June 26th, 4 days before the wedding Monica decides to email me stating she has to freeze her business and will not be supplying the chair covers/sashes I had paid in full back in October 2009. She stated her attorney and the BBB made her shut down. What attorney tells you to breach a contract 4 days before the wedding??? She said my refund was already in the mail and I will receive it before my wedding day. No refund ever sent! My mom and I both called, left messages, sent emails. Monica replied once to my mom in email and said she is hurting more than us. Really?? We spent $2300 just to replace new chair covers/sashes for my wedding. She is not professional at all and shows it since so many people are complaining about her. Does she really think she will have a business after this? I referred friends to her, but all of them will be getting refunds and will not be using her BAD BUSINESS. She is not to be trusted and will PAY for everything she has done to all the brides that got screwed over by her. I expect my refund and for her to cover the amount we had to pay last minute.

This is a forum to get information and reviews about wedding-related issues. Of course people are going to (and should) speak up about problems they've had so that others may choose wisely. I know I wish that I hadn't gone through all that stress & lost all that money to her!

Honestly, it seems very suspicious that you are trying to discredit what so many posters are saying when there is clear evidence from several sources as to her business practices.

I'm not sure why it seems suspicious that I'm telling people to be wary of a sudden influx of brand new posters bashing on one particular vendor and not posting anything else on the boards. I would have done the same thing if there was an influx of brand new posters praising a particular vendor to the sky. It looks suspect. Like I told the other people, it's obvious she bit off more than she can chew, and right now she's having some serious problems. I also said that her
reponse is not adequate. I'm not trying to discredit anybody, there are some established posters on here who have had issues with her and I don't doubt their veracity at all.

I get that and can see why you'd want to "get the word out there," but it doesn't necessarily make you a credible source since we can't tell you apart from the vendor herself or her competitors. If you stuck around and told us more about yourself, we'd be more inclined to listen to you and all the other posters on this topic with less than 10 posts.

I was really nervous after reading everything. She started to not return my phone calls and everything. My now husband had to leave her a message confronting her about the concerns we had after reading about her. Well she called us right back after that at almost midnight. My wedding was July 10th and she showed up the day before to set up! I was so relieved. The only thing was I was shorted 2 table runners, but at least she showed!
