So my BM dresses arrived yesterday. 2 of my girls come over to try them on, and they are SKINTIGHT. As in, can't breathe, now-have-back-fat, 'it's a miracle this zippered,' tight. We ordered from Pearl's Place and the girls picked their sizes according to the Bill Levkoff size chart, but there's no time to exchange and besides, PP got the order exactly right.
Sigh.
I now feel like I'm going to have 6 stressed out BMs on crash diets for the next 6 weeks.
Any advice or words of wisdom?

Depending on the material, it may stretch out? Couod it be washed and pulled out a little (ypu know how some cottons and other materials can be stretched after washing)? Can some variety of panel or corset be added?
"Whatever East. You're just mad I RSVP'd "lame" to your pre-wedding sleepover."
Do you have a pic of them?
DX: PCOS/Recurrent losses/MTHFR mutation (compound hetero)
5 hysteroscopies/2 surgical
3 Inject IUIs = 2 m/c's and 1 BFN
IVF #1= BFP. m/c at 7w6d. Needed 2 D&C's and scar tissue removal. Mild OHSS
IVF #2 = BFP. Severe OHSS. 4 Drainings. TWINS!
I DO think the dress could stretch if the girls felt like wearing it around the house a bit before the wedding. When we picked it out, the sample size 12 fit 3 of them quite comfortably, but now it's tight. It's that poly-satin 'bridesmaid dress' fabric.
I believe they'll all have plenty of extra length to be chopped off, so hopefully they could use that fabric if necessary to let the dress out a bit?
This is the gown:
Sorry this happened.
Aprov, that's right, they're only tight above the sash.. plenty of booty room haha.
This conversation is encouraging lol. After talking to you girls I'm feeling more optimistic about the situation.

As PP said you have plenty of time to get them altered. I find putting a panel in over the tush gets complicated. If its just the ribcage and boobs then a panel is a quick and easy fix that won't be noticeable. It'll be fine.
[QUOTE]And it's seriously a bridal party of boobs. I think 4 out of my 6 girls are at least D cups.. the GMs will think they've struck gold.

LOL. I think that should be your BM's slogan.....bridal party of boobs.
I say as long as they can get them on, don't stress. Once they get them on and starting moving around for pictures and dancing at the reception the fabric will probably loosen. A similar situation happened with my MOH/sister and she ended up being fine!
MyWedding - I know, right?!
I definitely feel better about the situation this morning. Thanks all for the replies and suggestions!
