Stamps?!?

So with stamps being now 46 cents does anyone think they will be going up again by next year? Also, Do you ladies think that one stamp is good to send out a STD postcard and the invitation?

Just wondering im looking at purchasing a couple books of some custom STD stamps for my postcards and yes im early but again im just looking at the prices..

    As far as the STD postcard I think you'll be good with the regular stamp. Once you get into invitations, I've learned that it gets a little tricky. Even if you invite is just a simple flat card, you might have to pay extra because of the size. Then, you also want to keep in mind that you are also going to be mailing a response card along with the invite. If you are going custom, you might want to hold off in case postage increases again. Or you could always buy some pretty forever postage stamps. I bought the cherry blossom ones because they were pink. They also have some with white roses on them. HTH :)

    We were going to buy custom, but decided that we didn't want to spend the extra $$. Dannitra is right, you may want to wait until you have all of your mailings (invite, response, reception, etc) together and take 1 to the post office and let them weigh it so you know exactly what the cost will be. 

    We ended up buying the Love forever stamps from the post office. HTH.

    Im just being the busy eager beaver ready to get things rolling and i got a ton of things on my mind and a ton of things i want to do but i need to just slow my lil pony down and give it some time... LOL

    If you're doing STD postcards, they have special postcard stamp.  I ordered a sample of a previous brides invite from my Etsy lady and based on the weight from the one I went and snatched up wedding stamps 9 months early. I still had to get some but it was a weight off knowing I didnt have to rush when they were going up in price.

    Definitely depends on the STD.. mine were luggage tags.. so if cost a whole lot more.. Getting one together however you plan to send it and get it weighed at the post office will saved you a lot of frustration... thats from personal experience..and that way you know your stamps will match..
