I can't tell you all what a relief it has been to be able to cross this off the "to do" list! I got engaged in November 2011 and we were originally planning on a fall wedding, BUT with my schooling, my children's schooling, my fiance's job, etc - it was decided it would be better to have it in the Spring. So, we decided on May 20. I knew I was already behind in the "typical" wedding schedule. I went last weekend to Tulsa (where the wedding will be) with my "ladies of honor" to go dress shopping. I went to 5 different places. I have a really tight budget of $500 for my wedding dress (my fiance and I are paying for our wedding on our own). I had no luck in Tulsa. Today, my mom , sister, aunt, and I went shopping at a town about 30 minutes away from where I live in Missouri. I went to David's Bridal and found a GORGEOUS discontinued dress on sale. Normally $1050, it was marked $198!!!!!! With alterations and adding a corset back on it, my grand total with tax was $469! I was beyond thrilled.
Now on to the next thing on the list....
