co-ed baby shower games

Ideas? For some reason the geniuses here have put me in charge of this.

Please to be noting, I have been to exactly three baby showers in my entire life.

Why do they think you need games at a work baby shower? Eat some cake, open the gifts, and get back to work.

    Co-ed baby shower games? Undecided

I say just set up a game of beer pong.  Winner takes all.

Agree with Nola...unless of course you are looking for a way to humiliate a few co-irkers.  How about teams of three create toilet paper diapers for one member of the team who must then model and solicit votes?  That sounds ridiculous enough.  Or bobbing for binkies?

If you must have games, go the easy route with the safety pin game where you can't say baby and maybe the who can drain the bottle of apple juice fastest game. Please don't do the candy bar in the diaper game, nasty.

melt chocolate bars in diapers and then have people guess what kind they are.

when people are thoroughly disgusted, make a nice speech to thank the a-hole who put you in charge of games.

(we've never had games at any sort of work shower, and i've only been to 4 outside of work - SIL did a "how well do you know the parents" and "bib design contest"  and a gift bingo for my shower)

you could do a bottle drinking game as well. if you do, please fvck with them and put the inserts in the bottle to block the nipple. SIL made an ass of herself at her shower "NOTHING IS COMING OUT!!!"

At my shower, we played some fun games.

We had to guess the 20 items inside the diaper bag on a peice of paper.

    We decorated onesies.

There was a list of traits (eyes, hair, sense of humor, etc) and I had to check which item I wanted the baby to get from DH and I. Then whoever got the most right won.

Am I the only one who loves shower games?

I think the pass-the-doll to diaper one would be good for coed.   Also the candybar one, WHILE DISGUSTING, is funny.
Just keep it down to one or two games.

Safety pin game for the win!

You could also put M&Ms in a bottle; diapers in a bathtub; washclothes in a bottle whatever in whatever and have people guess the quantities.  Closest to the answer wins and the mom gets all of the stuff.

We narrowed it down to the diaper game (there are going to be kids at the shower and they can do that one), mommy and daddy trivia and mommy circumference. My contribution was mommy and daddy trivia. I let the other two people pick their games.

I love baby shower games! My favorite is the poop game, because it is not poop!

Nico - can you guess that a guy picked that game. He wanted one of the trivia items to be "How much weight has mommy gained." I shut that sh1t down soooo quick.

The 'measure the tummy' game can end in tears.

I'm late to the party, but if you want the versions of bingo or what-not that I made in the past, drop me a line and I can email 'em to you.

I hope that when I finally do get to have my baby that I can play all of these games. They sound so fun! I like to pretend I am pregnant when I am home alone and I stick a pillow under  a specific shirt I like to wear with an empire waist and I pretend I am pregnant. I used to use a towel, but one of my throw pillows fits PERFECT!

AF, I think it's the paranoia.

If you're 'to big' you wonder if you're screwing up and breaking your child.  And if you're 'to small', you wonder if you're screwing up and breakingyour child.

any one who has body dysmorpic disorder or an active/past eating disorder would have issues with this. I can see how guess weight gain/belly size games could set them off.

some people are just overly sensitive or worrysome as well.

it shouldn't matter the size/gain if the baby is healthy, but if outside of the "recommended" range, it may worry them.
