Save the Date address wording

I understand how to address married couples or unmarried couples living together and things like that but need a little help with some other stuff.
My fiance and I have a few special circumstances regarding specific guests...how do we word the following?

-An unmarried couple that is NOT living together but has been together for a long time (I know we send invite to closest friend, but how do we let her know that BF is invited)

-In certain families, older children are invited but not their younger kids.  If a family has a Mr. and Mrs. and then Child A (oldest), B, and C...only A might be invited.

Should I not put "and guest" on the save the date?

Thank you for your help in advance!

Re: Save the Date address wording

  • I have one situation where one of my friends is invited with her non-live-in boyfriend. They have been dating for 1.5 years and I haven't met him because they live in NY and I live in LA.

I am just including his name on her STD and invitation. If you know the boyfriend well, you can send him a separate invitation at his home (which I may do for my BM's boyfriend).

    As for the children:

    Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
Mr. Robert Smith and Miss Amy Smith

If a child is over 18, they get their own invitation.

I'm skeptical about the whole dividing-up of children thing, though.
