Hey there Columbus brides!!
I am getting married 9/29/12. So far we are doing pretty well. We have our venue, DJ, photographer and (once my dad sends the check) the officiant.
I am finishing up floral interviews next week and we are starting cake interviews tomorrow! :) I would loved to hear more about your Columbus wedding experiences.

    Welcome!  What's your venue, who's your dj, photographer and officiant?

    As for my experience, I got married in July at The Ohio State University, (ceremony at Browning, reception at The Union).  We used New Image Studios for photography and DJ.  And, my f.a.v.o.r.i.t.e. vendors were Anita Kline for cake (seriously....phenomenal) and Flowers on Springtree Lane (again...wonderful).  I found some great deals by speaking to the wonderful ladies on this board.  Mostly, Anita Kline and Flowers on Springtree Lane.  Also, I found out about vistaprint (not sure if you have heard of it, but it's such a money saver!!!) Our STDs, invitations, TY cards, and some bridesmaid gifts came from vistaprint....and it was so cheap but totally didn't look it!!!

    Welcome to the board, i feel this is my favorite board and we are all very helpful. If you have time, I suggest DIY-ing some of your projects, I got my invites for .50 cents each at michaels and I just have to emsemble them. We made our pew decor and our centerpieces. Saved us a bunch of money.

    Congrats and welcome!!
    We are *most likely* getting married at the Polaris Hilton as well!! We are planning our wedding from Florida, and will be visiting venues in January, and that one is at the top of our list!!

    These ladies are great! And I agree about DIYing your stuff. I love crafting and it is a lot of fun planning and designing your own stuff for your wedding

    We used Petals and Leaves florist (not hte cheapest) but WOW.... everyone LOVED my flowers as did I
