DJ Advertisement

As I'm looking at DJs I'm noticing that many of them place banners with their contact information up at receptions. This seems very tacky to me - am I wrong? Is it ok for me to request that they do not do this at my wedding?

    Inappropriate, but I've seen it done.  I would just ask to add it to your contract as a stipulation that no advertising will be done at the venue for the duration of your wedding day.  If they balk, I'd move on.
