NWPR: Counsin-in-Law

So, (all) of my cousins are getting married between June and Sept.

One of their future wives was emailing me and she said she is freaking out because she can't find something blue. I was thinking of ordering this for her and mailing it to her with a little card that says "don't sweat the small stuff" she is crafty and funky and a kindergarten teacher. I am obviously not expecting her to wear it on her wedding day, but I thought it'd be a nice gesture in general. Do you guys like it or should I just not do anything?

I like it, but would it stop her search for something blue? Maybe a bouquet charm or something else small that she can use so she can stop worrying.

Licia, you make me laugh. There is a breed of pigs called "Blue Butt" so, yeah. I'm gonna go with a yes on the Blue Bacon of the Month!

I think it's cute. A nice little gesture, a surprise, and if she doesn't use it- oh well, at least it's an option.

Haha, but seriously, I think I would go for something less visible...I know you don't expect her to wear it, but she might worry that you do, and a hair accessory is pretty noticeable as part of your overall look. In theory though, I think it's sweet of you, so if you know she wouldn't feel that way then go for it.

As long as you say "just kidding" it's a great idea!

Does she have a garter yet? Garters are a common "something blue." They're cheap to buy, too.

Glad to be of service. I assume with enough googling I could probably find some terrible, food-colored bacon monstrosity. But I'm just so afraid for my eyes.
