What does your screen name mean?

I just thought this would be another interesting way of getting to know more about one another.

If you have a particular screen name, why did you choose it and what is the meaning behind it?

If you haven't already figured out, romamor is actually roma + amor. Amor obviously means love and Roma means Rome, Italy. Roma spelled backwards is Amor. (I hope I didn't dumb that down too much! lol) I lived in Rome, Italy for three years and it is a favorite place of mine, hence, romamor. The 4 is just a number that I have come to use as "my" number throughout the years...my daughter was born on 4/14/2006, so that is part of it.

Oh neat idea!

I was often nicknamed "Meech" (I have a french background so Michelle is more Meeechelle lol). When I had my son it evolved to Mama Meech :P
So I now use that often for screen names; that and "meechie".

This is so fun! My first name is obviously Lori (I didn't realize this would be visible on the boards when I signed up for TK) and G is my middle initial. 41 comes from my favorite DMB song from when I was in high school called #41...I've used this for my screenname for everything!

S is my first initial and Cogs are the first four letters of my current last name. 18 was my gym bag number when I was on the Varsity Swim Team (7th-12th grade...I was pretty good!).

At the time I chose 18 because the bags would get piled on top of each other and people would grab the wrong ones because the numbers looked simliar when flipped (think 69 & 96). There was no gym bag #81 so no one would ever steal mine! It's my favorite number now.

There you have it: SCogs18! I pronounce it S-Cogs-18 and not scogs. (think J.Lo)

Yeah, I cant wait to move back. I dont think I can live anywhere else for a long period of time. I've been in NH for almost 5 years, the second I see the skyline on the highway I am instantly in a good mood.

Nothing much. I had to create an email a loooooong time ago (in like 8th grade...?) and I was studying Spanish at the time. It's actually backwards for Spanish reasoning. It should be chica morena (which is brown/dark haired girl if I remember correctly), but I didn't like the way it sounded. The 110 is just because they made me come up with a number. =P

Weird story for mine- you know those enormous sunglasses that cover your entire face? I bought a pair and my FI made fun of me, saying I looked like a bug. And I used to always be hungry and would want to eat all the time. So he said since I looked like a bug, I was the very hungry caterpillar (like the book) and it stuck.

mine i just made on the spur of a moment when my MOH was wedding planning. I wanted to read an article or something and they wouldn't let me read the rest without registering. i usually use ellykay as my alias for EVERYTHING, but it was taken (grr) so i just came up with something quick.

kelly is my name obviously. dan and i have started adding "alo" to things to make them "cute". and i like cats, and dan calls me cat sometimes (i know we are really weird, ok) so catalo is cat + our 'alo' ending. (other examples of 'alo' words are housealo, dogalo) ok so yeah we're really weird and that was the first thing i could come up with when i wanted to read that article. i never thought i'd become a member of the forums (i wasn't engaged yet!) and start posting alot.

Mine is all about my nephew. When he was born he became the love of my life as a little person. He is now my favorie little person and I do not know how I will be able to love another baby as much as him.

He calls me Ti-Ti, my name is Tarra and when he was learning to talk that was hard for him. So we came up with something easy for him. Then when he was learning to say his full name which is Collin Ray Estebanez. When he would say it he would say Collin "noray" estebanez, I loved that. The "08" was the year he was born.

There you have it titinoray08. it is my screen name for a lot of things. He will some times call me "Tarra" and then take his hands, cover his mouth, giggle and say "Ti-Ti".

June 19 is my birthday, and I used "junebug" b/c my FI called me that for awhile (I don't know where it came from)- it annoyed the heck out of me, but I thought it was cute.

When FI and I first started talking to each other, I never referred to him by his name when I was telling my friends about him. I've known several Josh's and dated one over the years, so it was kind of one of those names that I just wanted to avoid. I started calling him Bass Playa. I have a well known thing for bassists and he was a bassist in a band when we met. Now that's how everyone refers to him online. In September, I'll be Mrs. Bass Playa!

I must have had my knot sign in name forever because its actually a really old sn

my friends decided to come up with the weirdest way to spell jessica, Jezika, and that got shortened to jez. I had a weird little thing with Pez at the time so that became jezpez and 717 were actually my favorite numbers because of the guy that I had a crush on in middle school. (the FI actually knows about that little bit) but now 7 is in his bday so now i can say its for that.

Its funny how many people STILL refer to old SN's from back in the day when AIM was king, and not facebook lol.

I realized afterward that mine isn't what I should have made it. You see cowgirl and you think of a girl on a horse riding off into the sunset. Nope... I havent ridden a horse in years, but I work on a dairy farm. So it should have been Cow Girl. The K is my future last initial.

The 39 is almost a knee jerk reaction when asked for a number. When I was in middle school / High school, my bigtime celeb crush was the Buffalo Sabres goalie Dominik Hasek. He wore #39 and even though he is long since retired, I automatically think of him when asked for a number.
