New to the board with a question???

Hi Ladies I am new to the board and from reading the posts it looks like I can find a wealth of information here so this will become my favorite to browsing site LOL.

Some background on my day:

Located in : Norfolk Va
Wedding date: 8/14/2010
Colors: pink (various shades from Davids Bridal pink, candy pink and watermelon)
Venue: Outside ceremony in Local garden

Question:
My girls are wearing tea length strapless dresses and I am trying to find cute wedges for them that doesn't cost too much. My question is what color will look best with the dress of pink color since my colors will go from light pink to a dark pink.

Here are some shoes I am looking at but I am not sure of the colors:

brown

linen

Any suggestions? I really want silver wedges but I am having a hard time finding some since my girls wear shoes from the size 8 to 11.

I think silver shoes would probably look the best- but the linen would probably look the best- payless has some cute silver wedges

I think you should let them get their own silver shoes. PLEASE don't make them all wear the same ones. Nobody will notice or care what's on their feet. Plus, that will just make it easier on YOU.

I forgot to let you ladies know I am not getting everyone the same shoes to control everything. I am afraid that 2 of my bridesmaids will come with shoes that is fit for a night on the pole and I don't want to single them out so I decided to buy their shoes myself. Since I know those 2 ladies I am pretty sure it will happen so I wanted to avoid the back and forth.

Could you just ask them all to let you approve their shoes beforehand instead? That way they can pick out their own and you can still have classy shoes on them. (Although I doubt anyone will notice their shoes even if they are a bit inappropriate.)

I'm glad you're buying them and I agree that that's the right thing to do if you are requesting certain shoes, but my concern would be their comfort. Not every woman is comfortable in the same shoe as another woman.

Seriously, don't buy their shoes... I find most cheap shoes to be really uncomfortable and I would much rather try on and buy my own if I were your BM. If you really feel the need to have input, suggest going shopping together.

hi, i think silver would be great. metallics are neutral but give a pop to the outfit and make it a bit more formal. hope this helps
