Need opinions!

My fiance and I decided colors are charcoal and pink the men will have charcoal tuxes and pink vests and ties. So my two sisters will both be the maids of honor and I will have 4 other bridesmaids. I was wondering how it would look if I had my maid of honors wear pink dresses and the other bridesmaids wear charcoal dresses? Do you think it will look nice, or just plain tacky? NEED OPINIONS

    Depending on the dresses and the shades, I think the pink and grey dresses could be cute.

    I say, find the dresses first, then decide colors.  Most dresses come in multiple colors anyways.

    I think you should stick with pink for your bridesmaids/MOHs.  How about having them choose different colored/different styles of pink dresses?  Something like this, but in pink: clicky

    You could also (if you are having them all wear the same dress) pick dresses that you could put a charcoal sash on the MOHs and no sash on the BMs. Or like in my wedding, the colors are black, blue, and white(goes with my dress) all the girls are wearing the same blue dress. MOH has a white chiffon wrap and the BMs have black chiffon wraps.

    Ditto on the prom thing.  What about having them wear black tuxes with some type of pink accent?  Black is so classic--I'd be nervous that gray would look washed out in pics.  If they're in black and white, there isn't much to coordinate with your bridesmaids--black goes with everything.
