When should RSVP cards be due?

I have no clue when they're typically due.

If our wedding is June 25th is June 1st too soon to ask for them back?

    I think thats ok.  My (former) roommate's wedding was mid-August last year and she sent out her invites in May and asked for RSVPs in June 1.  No one responded, including me and I was living with her at the time!  I think 3 weeks prior to the date is a good span of time.  Some will be late in the mail and you'll need time to hunt some people down for responses.

    3-4 weeks is a good time. You need to leave a few days for the late RSVPs to roll in, then a week or so to call those that don't reply, so that's a good timeline.

    I had a friend send hers with the RSVP date two months before her wedding; she had a B and C list.  My fiance wanted them back a month and a half before.  We went with April 8th for the due date for our May 15th wedding, so there is 5 weeks.

    Mine are 3 weeks out, I am seeing a lot that are 4 now, which is making me wish I did 4, but I think 4 is a little early:) 3 should work, depending on when you need a number to your caterer. Ours is a week out so, that gives me 2 weeks to follow up with people.

    I think I'm going to stick to June 1st for a due date.

    I seriously can't even believe that I'm this far along and this close to our actual wedding.

    I think I want to do a happy dance!!!

    When is your final count due?

    Our final was due 2 weeks before the wedding and we wanted 2 weeks after the due date and before the count was due to deal with stragglers, so ours was 4 weeks out. I wouldn't give yourself any less than 2 weeks to deal with the non-responders. June 1 is definitely within expectations.

    My wedding is May 16, and my RSVP date is April 16.  We sent them out 10 weeks before the wedding so that gives people more than a month to respond.  I think that's plenty of time.
