Hukilau Lanai

Good Morning Knotties,

Do any of you ladies have information regarding the Hukilau Lanai in Kauai?  I am in the process of helping my sister plan her Sept. 2012 wedding in Kauai and stumbled across this beautiful venue last night.  We're waiting to hear back if the date is available but know you girls are always the best place to go for advice.
Has anyone had their wedding here?  If so, do you mind sharing your experience?   We're working with about a 40-45 person guest list and a pretty tight budget.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated for vendors as well, she needs it all. . .DJ, photographer. . .etc.

    Hi Laura, I'm getting married in Kauai in a few weeks. I am not having any events at the Hukilau Lanai, but I did consider it for my rehearsal dinner and checked it out in January when I was there for my wedding planning trip. It's a nice venue right by the beach and the prices are very reasonable. I decided against it in the end only because my wedding is on the north shore and it would have been quite a drive for the wedding party. Sorry don't have more info for you but this! Best of luck!

    This is where I will be getting married on July 12, 2012.  It hasn't happened yet so I can't give you too much information, but it definitely seemed a lot cheaper than a lot of the other resorts/restaurants on Kauai.  Also, you pretty much have to plan everything.  The lady who books the wedding for you can send a list of preferred vendors, but that's it.  I can probably give you more information after July..good luck!
