According to my family, FI needs to convert to OSU before he's allowed to marry me. He refuses to, but last year when MI lost, he said he was a Notre Dame fan now and my sister is holding him to that.

Other than that...umm...it's not a sport, but we watch WWE events with his sister and her FI.

We are DIE HARD Buckeye fans. Die Hard Steeler Fans, and Tigers Fans. Needless to say -- sports is pretty important to us.

My fiance loves the Detroit Tigers, OSU and the Cleveland Browns.  I love the Atlanta Braves and I'm a new Cleveland Browns fan because I just love Colt McCoy.  I don't have a favorite college football team, so I guess by default, I'm an OSU fan.  lol  We also enjoy watching WWE Raw.  We don't have favorite basketball or hockey teams, but enjoy watching these sports too.

    Ahhh!  I've been replaced!! :)

Anyway, my husband is a huge sports fanatic.  All sports.  I usually lose the battle over the remote and get stuck watching sports.  Sometimes I feel like I know as much as the ESPN analysts!  Anyway, we both REALLY love college football.  We literally start watching college game day at 10:00 in the morning and then watch football until bedtime.  Less than one month to go!  Specifically, we love to watch OSU! Go bucks!

I saw you were the last to respond and got excited. YAY! You're back! How was the trip?  Did you like NYC?  I lived there for about a year and a half.  I miss it sometimes.

I didn't replace you :) You can have the QOTD's back...I just did them while you were gone because the board is DEAD without them :)

We had such a blast, however it felt really good to sleep in our own bed last night. NYC was awesome.  I don't think I could live there though- too many people, cars, and just too much craziness.  But It was definitely a fun place to visit!  The only bad thing was the empire state building.  That was a total waste of $40.  After we waited in line for an hour, we get to the top and it's just rows and rows of people on all 4 sides.  It was hard to even walk around, much less get to the edge and see anything.  Oh well.  We definitely had a fun week!

I went up the Empire State Building one time with my now FI.  It was alright...It was a little cloudy when we went, so the visibility was not very good.  I tried to take my parents to the Empire State Building once and the line was 4 hours long so we skipped it.  I heard the Top of the Rock is better.  I did not ever make it there, though.  What else did you do in NYC? Talking about it is making me miss it.  Did you go on the Staten Island Ferry at all?

And the QOTD's are all yours...it was hard thinking of questions and I think I did ones you already did, lol.

I wish we would have done the Top of the Rock instead.  We debated between the two, and ultimately decided for our first trip there that the Empire State building was too big of an icon to pass up.  We did ride the Staten Island Ferry, we also did the ferry to Liberty Island and Ellis Island.  We did a lot of just sight seeing: times square, the theaters on Broadway, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, the UN building.  We went to the WTC area.  There is a shop right in that area that is dedicated to showing what the memorial will look like when it is completed.  It looks like it will be really nice.  We walked along 5th avenue and "shopped" but didn't buy anything.  My husband about had a heart attack in some of the stores as he had no idea how expensive some of the designer stuff is. Of course I would have liked to have done more, but I feel we really did a lot with our limited budget and only a couple days.  We will definitely go back!

Yay cschuma!  Glad you had a great trip!! :)

As for sports, DH and I are another pair of BIG college football fans!!  We're also pretty much all-day-Saturday watchers in the fall, and we are definite, die-hard Buckeye fans!!!!!!

We also enjoy Detroit Pistons Basketball, but we're not into that nearly as much as we're into College Football. :)
