First off, I LIKE the word butt-hurt. Secondly, I am "butthurt" a little still over the spoiler this morning. Like cranky....GRHHHH! I guess I can't expect all polls to be straight to the point and just answered as so, but I wasn't expecting any kind of HUGE plot point this morning, particularly about a show that I watch that isn't even on DVD yet.
DH watches this show too and we LOVE it....and I am going to tell him tonight that I know something....I won't tell him what it is, but I am SUPER bummed that I now know and he doesn't. It's the worst secret E-V-E-R!
Ok, that's all.....phew.

What is butthurt?
Example: DH has been watching Rescue Me on Netflix lately. I've said I don't want to watch the show, but when I hear him laughing at the funnier episodes I go in the living room and watch with him. He's/we're halfway through season 3.
Then I went on Wikipedia last night and read the episode recaps for all the ones that are upcoming. But I'm good at keeping the secrets to myself - otherwise I would avoid it out of fear of telling him.

But in all seriousness, I love words that have butt in them. That's why I like having a 6 year old nephew because you can only say butt words around him for curses...otherwise I get in trouble with his mom when he repeats what I say.
And I think asshat is made way funnier by saying, "Butthat."
PS-this posted the first time on the Nevada wedding club board. AHAHAHA. They probably thought I was nuts.

That's so random how that sometimes happens! This is a great thread to bring down the stress levels I was at today. (not the spoiler part, but the butt part)

I totally get being pissy about spoilers.
On FB, I'm "friends" with a guy who competes on "Ninja Warrior" (For you ladies who haven't experienced the awesome: it's on G4, and it's this Japanese Obstacle Course from Hell. There have been 24 competitions to date, 100 competitors in each, only 3 people have ever won).
G4 airs each competition months after they actually happen, and basiclly, somebody won the last time, and the guy on my friends list announced there had been a winner in his feed right after it actually happened. So for the past 6 months, waiting for it to air, I knew exactly what the outcome was ... it was still awesome to see, but totally took away from the thrill.

So I'm a fan of Ninja Warrior *the greatest show ever* on FB, and people were spoiling it there too. So lame.

I like when people post about House because then I know to go to Hulu and watch it. All of my friends that watch House are really good about not mentioning any spoilers, though because no one that watches it has little enough obsession about the show to dare ruin it for someone else.

Man, you would think Levi would know better than to just put that out there. I would have been a little butthurt over that.
I stayed pseudo-unspoiled, but whoever runs the FB fan site for Ninja Warrior started warning people about spoiling, "For those who didn't know the awesome outcome" or something like that, so I knew someone had to win.

We watch lots of shows that we download(ed): Rome, Tudors, Weeds, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, now FI is watching Lost and its taken him 2 weeks to get through 4 seasons (yes, he has a FT job). I HATE when I know what's going to happen, although Tudors is historically based so we all kinda know what's gonna happen overall.
When it looks like a main character is in a fix and might be killed off, I always look it up to see if there is a next season! If there is, then I kinda know what's gonna happen, but not really.
BUT you won't know what exactly happens in Season 4 of Dexter until you see it. And I don't think you'll know until the last episode. So enjoy it. Go for the emotional ride that I know it always takes me for. I think its the nature of that show, loving a person you know you should really really not like under normal circumstances, that makes it different.

Enjoy it!
If anybody ever doles out a Weeds spoiler (DH and I have to wait for the DVDs), I will be forced to reach through the screen and punch you.
