He Proposed!!!!!!

OMG I am sooooo excited! My boyfriend took me out to Red Lobster for our 6 month anniversary and he totally proposed!!! I guess he had set up this whole before we got there and the waiters knew and even gave us our meals for free! I updated my facebook like RIGHT away lol I am suuper excited and we set the date for july 14th because that's when we first met so it's really special. I can't wait to start planning!

    Thank-you! My fiance is considering the army so I really hope this doesn;t push up our wedding date! Don't get me wrong I DO wanna marry him, but some ladies gave some good reason's for waiting a little bit LOL, but its is all up in the air right now, so I hope he decides no tot enlist.

    On one hand, congrats. On another, six months isn't a long time when you're 18. Were you friends before? And joining the Army is a very noble thing to do. Why can't he enlist and then you get married once he has a few years behind him?

    CoffeeBean, just a heads up regarding old posts: once they're more than a few days old they're considered dead. The date is on the top left corner of the post and this one's a month old. Plus this poster admitted to being a troll (so it's all made up).

    It's considered bad "netiquette" to resurrect such an old thread because it reopens an old discussion, OP is usually long-gone, and it pushes down newer threads posted by other people...particularly since she admitted she's a troll and caused trouble on a number of boards.

    Yeah, just double-check the date.  If it's more than a couple weeks old, you can be pretty sure OP isn't checking for answers anymore, so answering it is a bit pointless.
