Another lame question

I want guests to know they can visit our wedding website to get more info about the wedding and RSVP online.

Which option?

I don't mind handwriting, I've got plenty of time at work to do it. I would write "for more information and to RSVP online, please visit our wedding website at website." on the back of the RSVP cards.

Or do the same thing on a business card, which I'd just order free from Vistaprint, which might look nicer.

I could also create an insert on pink paper and add in there, same wording just cut and print myself.

And an AW! The invites have arrived from the printers, and I've uploaded a pic on my FB page :)

Re: Another lame question

  • I think to hand-write it would look like it was a mistake, like you had forgotten to get it printed, so I'd do an insert.

  • Do you have the time and energy to make the insert yourself?  If so do it, of not get the cards.
  • Pink, it was a mistake to not include it, so I see your point there.

  • NCV2, it just depends on if my printer will accept the pink paper I already have bought or not, we don't have a Kinko's or anything like that around here.

  • Whit,

    I would do the insert.

What if you did the insert on white, 8.5x11 paper and printed them on your printer?

You could then cut down the inserts to size and use the pink paper to border them?
  • That's a good idea, thanks. That also solves the question of what color font to use on the pink paper. That's a project I can start on right now!

  • I think an insert on pink paper would be cuter, but the business cards sound more convenient for you to get and not have to make (plus free, yay!). I made my own inserts on colored paper, and my cutter was bad and it was a PITA, and plus they were clearly printed from my computer and didn't go very well with my nicer invites. It was more trouble than I ever anticipated, but that's just my experience.

The cards are also something people are likely to stick on their fridge or something to keep track of it, so a little card would be nice.
