Day-of Prep Question

I'm curious to find out how you ladies did your bridal prep. I see a lot of people do their prep at a hotel -- are you using the room that you and your hubby stayed in after the wedding? Did you have a separate room? What about the guys -- did your groom get ready in the bridal suite?

I hope to get ready at my parent's house, but I know the groom has to have a place to get ready. I'm just trying to figure out how this should be organized. Thanks!

We, the bride and BM's, are getting ready in the room that my parents plan on staying in the night of the wedding.

The GM's are getting ready in a different suite in the same hotel. We may be staying in that room the night of the wedding or we may swap with my parents, it depends, my sister is having a baby tomorrow and it depends on what they plan to do.

We are doing it this way to save on cost. There is no reason to book an extra room for us and have three rooms total since there is a 2 night minimum.

I'm staying the night before/getting ready at my apartment (close by to hotels) with my mom, the girls will join me for getting ready there.

My FI is staying with his best man in his hotel room the night before and then they'll all get ready in that room.

We're trying to figure out where we'll stay the night of the wedding...as of now, we're paying for two nights in a room we only need for one, so we're gonna work that out with people somehow if we can.

We had a bridal suite at the venue. The GM all got ready on their own and then met H at the B&B we were staying at before the wedding. It was just a few blocks away so they walked over.
