@CMGragain I’m so sorry for this latest update. Your outlook for the rest of your time is inspiring. I hope they’re wrong and you get more time and get to enjoy your cruise with your family in June. Eat all the chocolate! Every day!
Had today off so I took N to a sign language class at our local neighborhood club! He loves staring at other kids and people so he had a blast. It’s great now that he can sit unassisted, and he sort of pays attention to the most distracting thing in the room!
Im glad I only work 4d/wk and can go with him to things sometimes. Makes me feel not so bad about working full time.
@MissKittyDanger I felt like the drink was a very sugary version of sprite (and I love sprite) so the beginning was okay but it got hard to finish it. Not super disgusting but not great.
GD isn’t directly related to how much sugar you eat and what not. I know extremely healthy people who got GD and people like me who stuff their face with donuts, cookies, and ice cream and I was fine. All I craved all pregnancy was sweets and I indulged and didn’t have GD. It ends up being more about balancing carbs and protein, not limiting sugar intake (but that is a small part of it, and a lot of sugary things are carb-loaded).
Oh girl. I am so, so sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my thoughts. Sending you creepy internet hugs. I know of a great loss community forum if you find yourself looking for somewhere online to connect to. Please let yourself grieve in whichever way you need. And, if you want, please share your baby’s name with us. She won’t be forgotten
@MissKittyDanger try a cold pack on the back of your neck. Whenever I had tension headaches while pregnant I did that for like 15-20min on then off then on like twice with my eyes closed and it helped me SO much. Heat packs/ a heating pad/baths did nothing to help but ice/cold packs did.
