     It's really up to you. I think we registered for 4 regular kitchen towels and 2 dish towels... maybe. It depends on how many you have out at a time, how often you change them, and how often you do laundry.

     For the towels I would recommend Hotel collection MicroCotton towels from Macys, because they're amazing. They stay fluffy, don't thread-pull, don't "skirt"(the ends don't shrink) they dry quickly, and last a super long time. I will never get any other towels again.      I really like the idea of a towel cake. And I think I like the towels. But I hate the flowers. There's just too many of them and they overpower everything else. Maybe if you started over with them and just used a few? Maybe just white ones? Then I think it would be pretty cool.

     I know we not supposed to expect gifts. But really, 12 people went in on a set of towels and no venting is allowed? I wouldn't expect a $600 dollar lopsided cake plate, but maybe 2 sets of towels would be nice. Ditto other PP's, send one note to the invited couple, then ask to send on your thanks to the other couples.
