   I would go digging up things to register for... Make a list of what you will need to set up house: plates, glasses, flatware, pots and pans, small appliances, bedding, towels, etc. Then register for that. If you don't need a KitchenAid Stand Mixer, then don't register for one. Don't make waffles? Forget the waffle-maker.…

   You never know what people will choose to get you. We got some gifts we didn't really think would be purchased so quickly and from family friends, like our All-Clad cookware set or Tiffany & Co. candlesticks. It's nice to have a few NICE items on your registry, because some people want to give generous and "lasting" gifts.…
