   Sorry, I know this gets asked every so often on this board, but if the "search" function would just work, I wouldn't have to ask again! Does anyone have links to all the steps I need to take to change my name legally?Thanks!

   After you get your marriage certificate go and get a new driver's license. Once you do that you can get a new social security card, passport, update bank accounts, credit cards, car insurance, utility bills, etc... Most places just want your driver's license so do that first and you can have a couple marriage certificates…

   i'm finally getting around to doing this, so one question... does SS and/or DOL keep the marriage license? i want to know how many copies to get from king county records.
