1. S/O gifts

   So, OMHs, or people closer to their wedding date: When did guests end up getting gifts? And how many won't bother? We're 6 weeks out, our RSVP deadline is today, and a whopping 8 households have bought us gifts. I think I'm half just surprised and half annoyed.

   Hmm... We actually got about 10 to 15 gifts delivered to us before the wedding. The rest were cards with cash/gift cards at the reception and another 10 or so actual gifts at the wedding.    we only got about 10 gifts (max) before the wedding..everything else was brought to us during the reception (grrrrr) but most chinese-wedding-gifts are cash, so we only ended up with two car fulls of gifts, since our parents carried our envelopes. not tooooo bad.

    I was surprised at how many gifts we did get ahead of time. We started getting gifts 2 months early and received about 12 gifts beforehand.
