1. Dj or No Dj??

   We are stuck, do we get a Dj or do we skip? We know many people have done the Ipod thing and its an idea we are bouncing around...to me, a dj announces us when we come in and that's the most of it, besides playing music. I'm not sure if its worth spending 600 bucks on. Help me out ladies!

   What kind of reception are you having? If it's fancy, like black tie-ish, you should def get the DJ. If it's more informal, low-key, restaurant type setting ipod would be fine but people probably will not dance that much if the music is coming from the ipod so I think if you would like to have a lot of dancing, DJ is the…

   It depends on what kind of reception you want. If the music will only be background music, then an ipod is fine. However, if you want a dance party, a professional DJ will know what music to play and when to play it in order to get the crowd up and dancing.

   Maybe call around and get a better rate? I live in Reno,NV for a 4 hour reception my DJ is 100.00 and hour. He will announce us,announce special dances,bouquet toss,garter throw,etc etc.
