1. DJ's??

   So we are just beginning to talk with DJ's about our wedding and to be quite honest we are meeting with our first one tomorrow and I haven't a clue what to ask him about.... so to any of you who have already secured your DJ or interviewed a few does anyone have any tips?? Thanks!!!

   Make sure you ask what he/she will be wearing that night? I have been to weddings where the djs are in suits and others where they where so dressed down I would have cried one had a Hawaiian shirt on and it was in no was a hawaiian wedding.

   I would discuss what their typical "sets" look like. When we met with ours, he said that they move through the decades, starting with older stuff for the parents/grandparents, disco/70s, 80s & 90s, and current Top 40.    The biggest thing that I can think of - ask if you can come and listen to them "play" somewhere. That way you get a feel of how they "control" the room, and the type of songs they play on a regular basis.    Everything PPs have said plus:Will they emcee or do you need to have someone else do thatDo you have to pay for the time they set up and tear down? (most of the DJ's I've seen/talked to do set up on their time. You pay from when you/guests arrive and they are expected to start playing to when you end)Do they require breaks…
