   I know this has been posted before. but my computer is being slow and i can find the info. I'm trying to figure out what i need to do first to change my last name. I have my marriage license already so now what? Where do i go? Where do i start? Thank YOu

   I've been gathering info on that as well for after I'm married in 10 days. So you already got your certified copy of the marriage license that was sent in by your officiant? If so, from what I understand, social security is the first step. You have to fill out their form for a name change and submit along with marriage…

   Our officiant is mailing in the signed license after the wedding but still, I'm told by the clerk's office that they don't mail you a copy; you have to go in person and pay $15 for a certified copy and I believe $4 for each copy thereafter. Get yourself at least 2 more, maybe three as at least SS and DMV will require…

   Girls-how did you order extra copies of your marriage certificate? DH just dropped off our license off and I assume they are going to send us the certificate in the mail in a couple weeks. Do I have to wait til it comes and then order more? Do I need to go back to the clerks office? Help!
