   We put packets from the NOCVB, a bottle of Kentwood water, an Aunt Sally's praline, bag of Zapp's chips, a voodoo doll, some beads, and a stick of Roman candy.    I am trying to think of ideas for our welcome bags that the guests will receive upon check-in. Does anyone have any inexpensive suggestions?

   My MIL is awesome and she did the welcome bags for us. She did a "north meets south" theme since my husband is from the north and I'm from the south. So for NOLA stuff, she put, gummy alligators, Zapps chips, pralines, beads, shot glasses (cheap plastic ones). Also included water bottles and cokes, etc.

   We're doing similar items as everyone else: beads, pralines, chocolate fleur de lis lollipops (my mom is making), zapps chips, water, a voodoo doll magnet, a welcome letter, maps and info from the visitors bureau. We had cloth tote bags printed with our names/wedding date, and a fleur de lis (in my bio). Good luck!
