   Unless you go the ipod route or find someone on Craigslist, there are a few DJ under $1,000 - but not sure if you can get both DJ and MC for that price.    Hey, check out The Pros. they have DJ packages starting at like $700... It'll be a DJ who will work as an MC, and includes basic lighting. They also have photo and video and will take like $150 off each package if you go with them. Good luck!
