   I changed 2 parts of my name and did not need additional documents. IMO a marriage license does not even indicate that you are changing your name.    I think you should do what's right for you, although it seems like it might be a bigger PITA to change 2 parts of your name rather than one.    I decided to hyphenate mine.llhavent changed it legally yet, but updated it on FB to Danielle last name-his last name. I like the hyphen it sounds like a good stage name. If we have a boy, his first name will be my last name and chris' last name.
