Why do people get so stressed out by planning

Booking stuff is easy.  Managing the family is harder and more stressful.  

The whole process was a breeze for me until I had to deal with family.

Also, managing the guest list is causing me a ton of stress right now. I would really love to invite 300 people, but we absolutely cannot afford that many!

I have about 20 I know who won't show up, because they live so far away. But we can only afford 100 people. Sure, we should have scaled things down some, but at this point it's too late. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into at all with the whole wedding thing and it's so hard to juggle everything.

For me the biggest stress has been trying to figure out what we want. We have been saving for several years and when the time came to start planning we had no direction.

Finances and family drama have definitely stressed me out the most. But that aside, it has been fun planning

Seriously though, to be honest, i never really considered how many choices we'd have to make. Just never crossed my mind.
