Has anyone used:
Ciao! Catering and Events from Danbury CT   or Fresh Company from Garrison NY?

I'm looking for affordable caterers that offer simple but delicious food. I want to serve family style with vegan options. And I want to make a bunch of the desserts (apple pie, cupcakes, cookies) myself so they have to be comfortable with that.

Any suggestions?

    Not sure where in CT you are from but.... 

    My venue includes catering, but  before I decided on that place I was going to look into Sarah Bouissou Catering. She and her husband own (and her husband is the chef) at Bernard's in Ridgefield. She also heads Sarah's Wine Bar, another less formal restaurant in Ridgefield. Bernard's is a  really great restaurant, that has won awards. I'm also fairly certain she was the caterer at some museum events I have been to, and the food was excellent. No clue what her prices are though. bhttp://www.sarahbouissoucatering.com/

    I'm going with Stacey Ference at Savour Catering in Derby.  She's doing my wedding at Penfield Beach in Fairfield.  She's been wonderfully easy to work with and her prices are amazing.

    No, I havent booked yet. I'm struggling to find a comfortable price range and good menu options. Thank you for the other suggestions! I'll check on them. We are in Fairfield county but getting married in nearby ny.

    No haven't booked yet, caterers are having trouble coming up with a budget of $3500 (including staffing but not linens/plates/silverware)

    We used Culinary Concerts out of Madison. Food was awesome and they had a ton of options.
