Engagement Shoot Locations

I am taking my engagement photos the first week in February and was hoping for some location ideas. My fiance and I want to take them somewhere we can bring our dogs and maybe play in the snow. Any suggestions? We are in the Longmont area but can travel anywhere.

    Generic suggestions: Downtown, Park, Waterfront, Restaurant that is significant to you guys, museum, hiking trail, the possibilities are endless. I've seen one at a thrift store.

    Edit to add: any college/university campus, library.
