I wish I was kidding. This is like some crazy episode of "The Twilight Zone" or something. I feel fortunate that our complex has a crew and hires a landscaping company to plow and shovel everything so we only have to dig out our own cars.

@pinkcow13 I'm not in NYC, actually, though that's where I was born. I live a bit west of Newark Airport, in one of the "old money" towns (because apparently ghetto doesn't like to cross the mountains heh).

Yea, the weather was actually really great for the game. However, they were showing footage of all the people stranded at the airports after being stuck on mass transit after the game. Sucks for them!

Cookie Pusher - omg the transit thing was horrible. How the hell did NJTransit not get their shit together? The really dropped the ball on that one - it's superbowl sunday!!!! How did they not think they would get so many passengers? I didn't hear about people getting stuck at the airports, though. Now that sucks lol.

Oh yea, so many flights have been delayed or cancelled that tons of people are just camped out in the terminals. This is such a nightmare for them.

And, having worked with NJT and living on a rail line, I can tell you that they have a lot of issues. The chain of command to get shit done is pretty ridiculous, so nothing ever gets done in a timely manner and no decisions are ever really made.

If I was a Broncos fan and flew out here from Denver, and then got stuck out here, I would be beyond pissed!!!!! Oh man...

I've only taken NJT a few times, but I know from coworkers that they are horrible. One of my friends at work is kinda flaky at work, so he always blamed being late on NJT back when he lived in Jersey lol. You would think they would have gotten it together for the biggest event of the year smh

Is NJT a gov agency?  I always thought they were a private company with a bunch of subsidies like Amtrak.  But you're right, now that I think about it, MTA is part of the gov.  Not sure why I always thought NJT was different.

I feel so whiny right now.  I don't wanna go to school tomorrow!!!

It was founded as part of the NJDOT with its Board of Directors appointed by the Governor. So we're all stakeholders, but are "represented".

And I fell ya, I don't wanna go to work tomorrow either!!

Ditto. I don't want to go to work tomorrow, either. I still feel like poopie and I'm just laying on the couch. I wish I hadn't lost my wireless card so that I could at least work from home. I'm going to request a new one first thing tomorrow morning.

I am helping out my old job for a few hours tomorrow which is normally a day off for me. There is like 7 inches of snow on the ground, I dont feel well (my ear hurts)and I cant sleep. I really dont want to go. I never call out. I always feel too guilty to call out. I really dont want to do it. Especially since I text the manager earlier to confirm that I was on the schedule. I am so torn. I think I am going to just have to see how badly my ear hurts when I wake up. Knowing me, I will go into work anyway and let them send me home.

NJT ALWAYS has problems!! It took me hours to get home from a Springsteen concert a few years ago. Any time there is a big concert series or anything *slightly* bigger than a football game, you can't get home!
