XP: Avoid weird tan lines?

I know there is plenty of time but it is never too early to get ideas. Anyway, our wedding is in July and I am wondering how I can avoid weird / awkward tan lines? I am a jeans and t-shirt type of girl so I don't want my arms to be tan but not my back or shoulders because that might look weird with a strapless wedding dress. Also, I will NOT go to a tanning salon and use a tanning bed (I have my reasoning for it). Any ideas?

    LOTS of sunscreen. All the time. Spray tan if you must if you don't like yourself with any tan, but the sunscreen will definitely prevent weird lines
