I tried on lots of different styles and thought the ladies on this board might like to see them. I don't have all the designer info for all the dresses, but I do have some and have shared what I could remember. I have 18 dresses to share right now and about 8 more that I'll try to post as soon as I can. I didn't take pictures in 3 dresses because they didn't fit and I couldn't come out in them/wouldn't want that getting out on the internet. I hope you enjoy looking at the different types of dresses that I've tried.
I went to three stores this past weekend and a fourth yesterday (the ~8 more will be from my fourth store). The first one was a salon with one designer, the second was a salon with 700+ gowns from many designers, and the third store sells discontinued dress samples as-is. I actually have a dress on hold at the third store, but I still just don't know about it.
I'm in love with an Eve of Milady ballgown (not available in stores anymore- old style) but I can't even decide if I LIKE ballgowns. I am having such trouble with this. I'm generally in a size 16 right now and I cannot figure out what looks good on me.
The first three are from Winnie Couture.
(I don't think this one flatters my middle)
Winnie's Ambrea
(one of my favorites)
Eve of Milady Ballgown
Eve of Milady Ballgown
(this is very flattering but made me feel self-consciously uncomfortable)
(belt included but not attached)
Robert Bullock Firra
Robert Bullock Rose (with separate belt)
Robert Bullock Angelina
Robert Bullock Virginia (with separate belt)
(one of my favorites from the second store)
Pronovias Barroco - This is my dad's favorite so far
WTOO Payton - I currently have this one on hold for now
I've tried on over 20 dresses!
I thought some of you ladies could appreciate looking at all the different styles.
"They say there's no such place... as Paradise. Even if you search to the ends of the Earth, there's nothing there. No matter how far you walk, it's always the same road. It just goes on and on. But, in spite of that... Why am I so driven to find it? A voice calls to me... It says, 'Search for Paradise.' " - Kiba, Wolf's Rain
