Magnet Street Invites

Hi everyone,
I just placed an order for invites through Magnet Street and they are great. They are mostly used for STD magnets but they have lots of invites too, it all sizes and templates. You can even change the color right then and there to customized exactly what you want. The invites are $1.70 each, and 70 cents for the RSVP postcard and the info/reception/map card.

I was also able to get free shipping and $75 off my purchase. We were going to go with Wedding Paper Divas and it would have been $460 but instead our cost is $235 for 100 invites, 100 RSVP postcards, 100 reception cards, and 100 envelopes.

Just wanted to share my great experience if anyone is still looking.

  • Thanks for sharing!
  • We are planning on ordering from them as well, I'm glad to hear it was a good experience for you. They also have a live chat on their website and I've seen them send new prints to people who have a slight fleck of color in the wrong spot when their invites reach them. Seems like great customer service to me. Also, if you create an account with them you will get email notifications when things go on sale. For example, they just had a 15% off sale over the week of Valentine's day, and this was applicable to everything.

Wow that's a really good price. I was going to go with Magnet street but the ones I was looking at were going to be around 5 or 6 hundred total for the invite, Accommodations card and RSVP card.

  • We used them for our STDs and our invitations as well. They had great customer service, an easy website, great discounts, and fast shipping! Overall we were so pleased.
  • I was fooling around with the website for a bit and they often send out all kinds of coupons. I ordered a mock sample and it cost me $10.67, which can then be applied to your large order. My total without coupons was $310 so I applied the credit and then a $40 off code. Then I realized that if I didn't apply the credit, I would actually get $75 off ($40 off if you spend $200, $75 if you spend $300, etc.), so I called and was able to remove the codes (which got me $50 off) and use the other code (which got me $75 off) and retain my credit for something else, like TY cards.

    Phew!

I guess I still don't have the hang of TK boards :|
  • I ordered my STD's from them and I was very pleased with their quality. I have to order Invitations soon and I am thinking about using them again.

  • What kind of paper did you ladies select? I will order a sample when the time comes but I was thinking the shiny pearlescent one looks nice. Do you think a more textured paper might give the invites a richer look and feel?

I received a sample pack with all four of them. I liked the textured ones but FI liked the pearl one and we went with that. They are great quality and there is no additional charge for paper quality. Also, the textured ones are on heavier paper so that might make a difference when you mail them out (postage). We are trying to stay under one ounce so we can use one stamp (and because the RSVP cards are postcards, we've eliminated the RSVP envelope).
  • Good to know, thanks for sharing!
