FI said, without hesitation, that he would stab me in the head. I asked why stab instead of shoot, is it because it's more intimate? He nodded...paused...then sheepishly said, "actually, it would be to save the bullet". Practicality obviously trumps romanticism in his world

FI said if I turn into a zombie, he would keep me chained up until they find a cure (not him, because we know nothing about medicine at all).  If he turned into a zombie, I would have no way of chaining him up because he is twice my size, so I said I'd let him bite me so we'd at least both me zombies.  I also added a rule that neither of us can eat our dogs in any apocalyptic situation.  We have also legitimately come up with a plan in case something like zombies (given that both of us are still human) or the purge were to ever happen.

He is a very sweet and kindhearted person. He rarely gets mad at me (I also do a lot of things that he could fairly get mad about). I asked him this question awhile ago and he looked me dead in the eye with a straight face

"I would stab you right in the middle of your forehead."

"You wouldn't even hesitate?"

"No, I'm in a zombie apocalypse."

"Would you grieve?"

"After I found a safe place to hide and cry."

....Not sure if I'm glad he would make it or if I'm mad he wouldn't do what I do which is panic and completely fall apart and allow him to eat me.
