I got an inital big wave of returns, which slowed drastically after a week or two.   I am totally fine with people calling me with the info (my mom and fmil told me right from the start they weren't returning theirs, they wanted to keep the full invitation)  As long as i have confimred info, I'm fine.  I put all the rsvp's with entree choices into excel to track everything, so it makes no difference to me how the info comes.   It's easy to have a full list anyway, so you can see exactly who responded, who you are waiting on, have it total numbers for you, etc.

  • I can totally undertand where you are coming from OP.  When you have to deal with entree choices in addition to the yes/no answers it makes it a little trickier.  Our invites don't go out for another two months, but I don't look forward to a bunh of repsones spread out across five different mediums...it makes more complicated then it needs to be, even with Excel adn Google Drive!

The only advice I can give you besides Excel(seriously saved my life) would be to email yourself immediately with the information as soon as you get a phone call or text message regarding the RSVP.  Put RSVP in the subject line which will make searching your email easier.
