    Did anyone else really hate the scene in the sept next to Joffrey's body? I really want Jamie to redeem himself after all he's been through but he seems to be the same person as always...disappointing.

    You mean when Jamie rapes his sister? Yes. As much as I hate Cercei, I didn't want her raped.  And I was rooting for Jamie this season, for him to redeem himself.

    Lately I've found myself weirdly feeling sorry for Cersei. No matter who he was or she is, her son died in her arms. That isn't okay for any mother. I'm also VERY disappointed in Jamie. I've heard that it was consensual in the book.

    Granted, it was consensual in the books because it was from Jamie's point of view. In his mind, it's consensual and she changes from a 'no' to a 'yes.' Did Cersei mean it that way? We don't know. Did GRRM change it? Dunno. He is pretty heavily involved in the show (including telling the showrunners how it will end, in case he dies before the next two books come out).
