Just under three weeks on the market and 4 total showings we accepted an offer on our house today. 97.5% of asking (includes us paying closing costs for them) and closing on May 30th!
The offer is pending finance and inspection so there is time for the deal to fall apart so I am trying to keep my head on straight.
We went house hunting again today and we are 95% ready to make an offer. We are going to look at one more house and we are going to try to get information from the seller of the house we want to buy. He is an investor and has been making improvements (new carpet, new backsplash, new stove) and we want to see what else he is planning on doing before putting in an offer. The house is currently empty, so we should be able to do a 30 day closing and be out of this house a few days before closing so the buyer can move right in.
