Dear FI's BSC cousin,

All my FI has ever done is support you. Even when he called you out for your shitty behavior towards me, he still stood by your decision while your family talked hardcore shit during your wedding ceremony/reception. He feels the same way they do, but told them to knock it off. If that isn't a friend, I don't what is. 

When y'all make plans, I wish you'd stick to them. Despite being a complete jackass to me, my FI, for some reason, wishes to maintain a friendship with you. Texting him an hour before you were supposed to hang out saying "for some reason your wife doesn't want you coming out tonight but how about tomorrow (when she full well knew that he was leaving the next day)" is not nice. 

It also concerns me because either a) you are using your wife as an excuse to not hang out, or b) legit your wife refuses to let you hang out with your family members that you were once close to. Either way, it looks bad. 

For once have some decency and treat your cousin like he treats you, even though you sure as hell don't deserve it.
