Minor vent.

So, my florist is kinda MIA. The last e-mail I got from her was about a month ago. Sent her an email last week about updating the contract cause we need additional bouts and how much that changes the balance due. I've heard nothing back, I've tried calling this morning and it goes to voice mail, which won't let me leave a message because it can't hear me talk.

    Okay, I don't know if I'd show up at her house, but I'd kind of want to because how are you supposed to get in touch with her?!!

    I'd also come up with a plan B right now.

    I would keep calling her, and I'd follow-up every phone call with an e-mail that details the phone call (and the fact you can't leave a message).

    I would also give her a firm deadline of, 'If I do not hear from you by X date, I will consider our business relationship terminated. I will therefore expect a full refund of all monies paid to you, and I will expect that refund by Y date.'

    You're not asking for anything unreasonable here.

    In a way, this might work out for the best. We're not doing floral centerpieces, we're doing lanterns. I have a bunch of lanterns not being used, so my BM's could carry some of those instead. And me. well. Shit. I can hit up the grocery store on the way to the venue.

    THIS. It sounds like you're being pretty flexible with the florist thing- which is awesome. Better not get too hung up on things you can't control of soooo close to your wedding!

    I am tempted to buy Trader Joe flower bouquets for the tables. Their flowers are always really pretty and last forever.

    So. Minor update. Got ahold of florist. Minor Crisis averted. Need new phone though, as it seems to be glitching for everyone.
