So my MOH is finally graduating! (Her words). Her party is this Sunday and I am wanting to get her a really kick ass graduation present, but am needing ideas.
A little about her:
1.) She is a total fitness junkie.
2.) She loves fashion.
3.) She has a dog that she is OBSESSED with!
A little about my parameters for the gift:
1.) I would like to keep it at $50 or less.
2.) I definitely want to give a physical gift, so no gift cards or cash.
Thank you all!
Re: NWR: Need graduation gift ideas!
@ElcaB, she got her degree in business marketing. She will not be relocating and she has a job lined up (just not in her field of study!)
If she's a fitness junkie, she might already have this, but Polar makes a heart rate monitor you can synch up with your iPhone.
Also @rajahbmfd your post makes me so sad, med school is so hard, and not to be recognized by your mom must have sucked. Sending you a graduation hug right now! Congrats, MD!
Oh good suggestions! I just wonder if I can get the personalized card holder by Sunday. Do you think Office Depot would have something like that?
ETF: words...
Aw thanks! Yeah she is pretty amazing, so I definitely wanted to something special for her.
Sorry to hear that your mom didn't get you anything.
CONGRATS on graduating from med school! Totally badass.
Or, get her a card and then mail her gift when it comes in. Most people love getting mail, and you can give her a heads up in the card that a a package will be coming.
I know I would love to get a package in the mail. Hell, it could be filled be bubble wrap and I'd be ecstatic.
DH made up for it when he got me a cake from Costco. He's awesome.
When in doubt, pampering is always good. A massage or mani/pedi from a nice salon are always welcome!
How about a cute tote/gym bag?
In my line of business, sales people and managers (in charge of interviewing) are really the only ones that have business cards. This is coming from 2 different companies and more years of experience than I'd like to admit.
Hmm.... an office store would probably have something like that, although it wouldn't be personalized. I also like the idea of giving her a card at the party and letting her know to keep a heads up for something in the mail. Who doesn't love presents in the mail?
Haha those are great!
