  • Oh my I am so sorry for your friends, definitely T&P are being sent, hope everything turns out for the better

  • Positive thoughts for the little one and his parents.
  • I'm so sorry to hear this. I'll keep the little one in my thoughts. I was a meconium baby. Luckily though I turned out fine. They thought the worse on me as well, but I was born healthy.

  • Hello everyone. Just an update...Not much of a change. Little One is still in a medically induced coma and the decision has been made to keep him here to see if his condition improves enough for him to travel. Right now the main concern is his blood pressure. From what my friend told me, her baby is maxed out on five different types of BP medication and cannot be given anything else...Right now we wait. No tests can be performed to determine just how long he was without oxygen until his blood pressure stabilizes and he can be brought out of the coma. It has been concluded that he ingested/aspirated a much higher amount of meconium than was previously thought. The situation is not looking good but we are all praying. If any baby has a fighting chance, he does. He was healthy and strong the whole pregnancy and was born at 9 1/2lbs and 22 inches long. He is our not-so-tiny fighter and we are still hoping for the best. We have spoken to some of the NICU nurses and they have told us of other babies overcoming worse so the the possibility is always there for improvement and recovery. Thank you everyone! My friend greatly appreciates your kind words, positive thoughts, and prayers.
