Wedding Weekend in Northeast During November

Hi,

I am looking for venues in the northeast that would be good for a fall wedding (novemberish). We will be having about 250 people. I am looking for a place that would be a great weekend getaway. I would like an evening together the night before, morning activities the day of, evening wedding and then a sunday get together. 

I would prefer not to have everyone just go back to a hotel and separate after the wedding.

I think it would be best to narrow down to specific states and regions within those states.  The Northeast is a pretty large area.  Then after narrowing your destinations down you should inquire about possible venues on the local boards because they will have a better idea of places then an international board would.

Where do you live? Are you inviting 250 people to travel for a weekend? Generally if it's far enough away that your guests need hotel, only half or less will come. But which state are you thinking of? There's going to be a big difference between The Berkshire Mountains in MA and coastal Maine.
