Dress Alterations

I purchased my dress at Eva's Bridal and I need to have alterations done. Has anyone had alterations done at Eva's or heard anything about the work they do? Does anyone have any other recommendations?

    Congrats on buying your dress!

I bought my dress from Eva's too!  But I'm having my altered locally because all I need done is shortening of the dress and we know someone who will do it inexpensively.

I worked with Beth at Eva's and she was able to give me discounts on most everything. And she was so wonderful to work with.  It can't hurt to ask for a discount either.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

I wouldn't recommend getting your dress altered at Eva's.  I also bought my dress there, and paid $300 for the altering and bustle - but with in 5 minutes of wearing my bustle 2 of the buttons broke, so I had to safety pin the dress.
I would recommend Becky's in Bay View - I've used her before and she come highly recommended on this board 414-483-7870.
    Good Luck.
