David Bridal Sale ending on June 16th -question

Hello,

I don't think I'm ready to buy my dress. Since I'm on a budget I noticed David Bridal is having a big sale and some dresses are as low $99.00. Does anyone know if they have more sales though out the year or should I take advantage of the one this weekend.

    How low is your budget? If it is $150, then maybe go this weekend. I think they hold this sale more than once a year? but I'm really not sure. 

    If it's more like $400- $800, then you can certainly hold off. They're always holding one sale or another, and SO MANY of their dresses fall into that price range to begin with. Also, look into tiny bridal shops. I thought I was going to get my dress from DB because I didn't want to spend much on a dress, I wanted to use that money for photography, but I went to a little shop and they had many dresses from $400-$1400 that seemed a little more unique/ what I was looking for. I bought mine there for $700. 

    BHLD also has a nice dress for $260 that I had my eye on (I think it was called annabelle? It was the jenny yoo dress). There are also pretty long white dresses from Macy's, JC Penney's, JCrew, and  Ann Taylor, among others, that are often less expensive than the usual bridal salon. 

    You might know all that already, but unless your budget is $150, I would hold off on rushing to buy your dress now. Even then, I think you may be able to hold off and find something close to that when you're more ready to make a decision.

    It's a semi-annual sale, so I'd say they'll be having another! A friend at work mentioned her sister got one in a big $99 sale in December, so am guessing that might be when! I was checking out their site before this big clearance sale and they did have a lot of other options under $200 without the big sale!

    They tend to do big sales like 4 times a year.

    I purchased my dress during one of their "sales" which was in February of this year - so I think you'll be ok waiting for the next sale. :)
