Scam Artist Couple posing as wedding photographers

This article was in my hometown paper this morning.  The pair has scammed several couples in the Omaha/Kansas City area out of money and never showed up to photograph any of the weddings.  The article states they are believed to have left the area and may be moving to Colorado or Texas.  Just a reminder to fully vet your vendors before making any payments.

This is terrible! Thank you for posting! Good example of how important it is to really research the people you are hiring. Read reviews, look at the dates of the reviews, search the business on the internet, look at dates and postings on the Facebook page to confirm experience and talent. Even photographers who have ads here on the knot have been known to mislead by posting work that was not done by them, so be cautious!
